Creamy Bacon Mac & Cheese




INGREDIENTS:

16 ounces elbow macaroni
¼ cup butter
2½ cups melted cheddar cheese
2 tablespoon of bacon bits
1 cup cream
1 cup milk
1 dash of fresh finely chopped pimientos
1 teaspoon flour

PROCEDURE:

1. Cook macaroni according to package directions.

2. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. 

3. Add flour then whisk for 1 minute

4. Slowly whisk in milk

5. Add pimiento; slowly add cream, stirring well after each addition.

6. Cook and stir until bubbly

7. Stir cheddar cheese until thickened, about 4-5 minutes.

8. Drain macaroni

9. Add to cheese sauce; stir to coat

10. Sprinkle with bacon bits
